A British Breakfast Favourite using Zeggss Organic Egg Recipe
There’s something beautifully comforting about soft-boiled eggs served with toast soldiers. This classic English dish is perfect for breakfast or brunch and with Zeggss organic eggs, you're not just enjoying great taste but also nutrition at its peak!

Ingredients:

4 Zeggss Organic Eggs (medium or large)

4 slices of fresh white or whole wheat bread

Butter (as needed)

Salt & freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
Instructions:

Boil the Eggs

Bring a saucepan of water to a gentle boil.

Carefully lower the Zeggss eggs into the water using a spoon.

Boil for exactly 5 minutes for soft, runny yolks or 6 minutes for slightly firmer yolks.

Once done, remove eggs and place them in cold water for 1 minute to stop cooking.

Prepare the Soldiers

While the eggs are boiling, toast the bread slices.

Butter them generously and cut each slice into 4 vertical strips — these are your “soldiers.”

Serve & Dip!

Place the soft-boiled eggs in egg cups.

Tap the top with a spoon to open, sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper.
